Seller Rating

What is seller rating and how do I improve it?

Seller Rating is the numerical representation of the your operational performance which is calculated on weekly basis. Seller performance is rated from 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest or excellent performance which is determined by 3 factors - lead time, cancellation rate and returns. 

Results will be shared with sellers by email which is sent out every Thursday.

Did you know?

To Improve your seller rating

1. All orders must be handed over to your assigned 3PL within 24 hours

2. Avoid out of stock cancellations by updating your stock twice a week

3. Ensure all products sold on Lazada are of high quality and as per advertised, to avoid inconvenience returns.

What can I do to improve my rating?

You can do the following to improve your selling rating:

a. Leadtime - Check pending orders regularly, package and ship orders timely


b. Cancellation rate - Monitor available stock and update stocks level in Seller Center regularly

 


d. Returns - Ensure that the product is authentic, brand new and in perfect condition, product information reflects the product condition, product is packed according to packaging guidelines to prevent damages

Scale Up Your Operations

  • To help performing sellers grow gradually, the Daily Order Volume Limit is influenced by weekly Seller Rating.
  • Sellers with higher seller rating will receive a higher Daily Order Limit. Seller with a low seller rating will have Daily OVL reduced.

This is to enable customers to understand who they are buying from. The information being shown are those which are important to customers when they are making purchase decisions.

 

What are the information about Seller that will be shown on website (PDP page only)?

Seller Size: Seller Size is determined by the number of items a Seller sold in the last 28 days. Sellers are ranked within their own category.​

Time on Lazada: Time on Lazada is the length of times since Seller's is "live" on Lazada.

 

What is the benefit I can get with this project?

Customers wants to know who they are buying from. The information being shown are those which are important to Customers when they are making purchase decisions. This enables better performing Sellers to differentiate themselves from those Sellers who are not performing as well.

 

Can I edit the information on the being shown to customers?

 No, the information shown are facts about you as a Seller on Lazada. We do not allow Sellers to edit this information. ​

Some tips on improving your Seller metrics:​

Grow your business to increase Seller Size! Key drivers of growth starts with adding great assortment at good prices, and ensuring you have attractive images and engaging product description. Once you have mastered the basics, focus on driving traffic to your products through marketing and participating in our biggest campaigns!​

 

There is no information shown for a particular Seller?

 Some performance related metric e.g. “Seller size“ is only available when the Seller has been operative for 28 days or more.

 

Can I remove information I don’t want to show?

 No, the information shown are facts about you as a Seller on Lazada. We do not allow Sellers to edit this information. 

 

Why is my cancellation rate different from the one in Seller Center?

The cancellation rate in the Seller Profile page is inclusive of Fulfilment By Lazada (FBL) score since it is visible to customers and this indicates the overall store performance. The Seller Center’s cancellation rate, on the other hand, excludes FBL score so that sellers can evaluate their own operation performance.

 

 What if my information seems incorrect?

Please contact Partner Support if you discover errors in your Seller information shown on the website.

Store Design Tool (Shop decoration)

Store Design is a tool which helps sellers customize and design the layout of their store page from seller center.​

The store page will then display best selling products selected and catch the customers eye using attractive designs on Lazada’s website.

 

 Types of Store Design includes:​

  • Category Navigation – to display the product according the details of each category​
  • Banner Graphics – to catch the customer’s eye using attractive designs graphic in a more interesting view​
  • Product Recommendation– to display all recommended products on the home page​
  • Store Header and Logo - is enhanced to support sellers in creating brand awareness for their online shop.This helps to increase exposure for your brand and differentiates your shop from your competitors.

How to join a campaign? (Campain Tool)

Lazada has a new enhanced Campaign tool.

Campaign Tool is a feature that allows Sellers to join Lazada campaigns, if they meet the criteria of the campaign.

 

There are 2 ways to join a campaign:

1.) By manually adding products

2.) By mas uploading products

What is Business Advisor?

Business advisor is data analytics in your Seller Center Account that will help you increase your sales.

How can Business Advisor help me?

  • Keep track of key metrics that determine your shop performance
  • Dive down into the details to gain business insights
  • Take the right actions to improve sales!

 

Where can I find Business Advisor?

Log in to Seller Center, and click on Business Advisor on the top navigation bar, right next to your Shop Name.

 

What can I see in Business Advisor?

You will see a Dashboard tab and Product tab in Business Advisor. The Dashboard tab gives you an overview of your performance, while the Product tab gives you full details on an SKU level. Please visit Lazada University for a step-by-step tutorial on how to use the tool.

What should I do with Business Advisor?

  • Breakdown your annual targets into daily targets and monitor your daily performance against these targets.
  • Constantly monitor your products and make changes to maximise your sales such as
    • Stocking up on popular products
    • Joining campaigns, using Sponsored Products to get more traffic
    • Improving product description/content or using bundles/vouchers to increase conversion
    • Matching competitor prices
    • Increase assortment for popular brands/categories/types of products.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why do I see dashes or empty fields for some date selections? Why does page views data and conversion rate look different from what I used to see in Analytics Portal?
A: Traffic data (page views, conversion rate, visitor) is only available since December 2017. This is due to an update of tracking methodology to account for pageviews across different colors/sizes in the same product detail page.

Q: How can I get a complete set of my SKU data?
A: You can export data for 2000 SKUs at once. If you need more data, please apply Category/Brand filters to export data in batches.

Q: When is data refreshed?
A:Data (except for lowest price comparison data) is refreshed every morning. Eg. After 9am on 2 Jan, you should be able to start viewing 1 Jan data.

Q: What does lowest price refer to? How frequently is it refreshed?
A: Lowest price indicates lowest price of the same SKU on other platforms outside Lazada, wiith adjustments for differences in warranty, discounts and attributes. The comparison price is refreshed daily for popular SKUs and within a few days to a week for other SKUs. Data is populated as of the previous day, not real-time.

Q: Why do I see the same item appearing multiple times on my Product Ranking?
A: Data is at SKU level, so for the same item with different colors/sizes, you will see multiple listings.

Q: How far back can I go with date selection?
A: You can choose from:

  • Last 7 Days
  • Last 30 Days
  • Day selection: Any day in last 90 days
  • Week selection: Any week in last 14 weeks
  • Month selection: Any month in last 13 months
